Ultimate Semester At Sea Packing List

This list is highly requested & so I thought that I would make a full post about it on my blog! This is the list that I made while I was packing for SAS so make adjustments as you see fit for you! This ended up being a pretty good list for me and I didn’t need much else! Chances are someone will always have what you need or you can always buy it. And obviously I’m a girl, so this packing list is more fit for my gals out there lol. I listed links to the products I got on Amazon if you want to buy those items! Clothes

  • 6  tops

  • 2 pairs of jeans

  • 3 casual pants/yoga pants/sweats

  • 2 pairs of shorts

  • 1-2 running shorts

  • 2 jackets (fleece-lined & compact rain jacket)

  • 3-5 bras & 1-2 sports bras

  • A lot of underwear

  • 3-5 t-shirts

  • 2 tank tops

  • 1-2 pajama shorts

  • 1 nice dress (for alumni ball)

  • 2-3 casual dresses for port

  • 2 “going-out” outfits ;)

  • 2-3 skirts

  • 3-5 swimsuits

Accessories 

  • Money belt

  • Big backpack for overnight trips

  • Hat (baseball hat and warm hat/beanie)

  • Scarf

  • Belt

  • Boots, nice sandals, flip flops, Converse/tennis shoes, Running shoes

  • Sunglasses

  • Jewelry (with no sentimental value lol)

Electronics

  • Laptop and headphones

  • Phone 

  • Portable chargers (SO IMPORTANT)

  • Camera

  • USB flash drives/ External hard drive

  • Auto-shut off dual voltage straightener or curling iron (if you want one it has to be auto-shut off)

  • World power adapter

  • HDMI cord (to plug into your TV in the cabin for movies)

  • Flashlight

  • Movies/shows (on a hard drive)

School Materials

  • Journal

  • Some pens/pencils

  • strong magnets and photos to put on cabin door

  • Sticky notes (to leave notes on doors)

  • Blank paper

  • Notebooks

  • Folder (2)

  • Textbooks

Medication/ Health Supplies

  • Malaria Pills

  • Seasick pills

  • Traveler’s Sickness pills

  • Benadryl 

  • Sudafed

  • Advil/Aleve
