My Road Trip Packing List

today i’m going to share with you my packing list for the road trip that i’m taking for 2 weeks through 7 different states in the west US including Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon and California!

basically this all began with me having this idea that i want to go on a road trip. i’ve always wanted to do this, and i’ve thought about for the past 4 years. BUT, there was never a good time and i had no money anyways. i didn’t know how or with who i would be going with, all i knew is that i wanted to do it.

so then i decided this year when i graduated, i would finally take this trip. but, obviously nothing this year has gone to plan. i really wanted to go in june but it just wasn’t going to happen. i talked my best friend lauren into planning this with me for the end of the summer, and she was down so her we are. of course, there were concerns of covid, but we planned this in the safest way we could and our entire route is through very spread out, nature-filled places where we can social distance properly.

in this post, i just wanted to share with you all my packing list for this trip because it’s always helpful for people who are thinking of doing this kind of trip in the future. i absolutely love the packing process. it so cathartic and satisfying lol. there’s nothing i love more than traveling with my packing cubes. they make everything so organized and easy! check out my YouTube video to see how i pack my bags with my packing cubes to make for a very easy and smooth travel/luggage experience, especially if you are planning on being away for a few weeks like me! keep in mind that this list is for the summer months, because we are going at the hottest time of the year haha. hope you find this helpful :)

4-5 t-shirts
1 dress
2 casual shorts
3 casual tanks
2-3 Bathing suits
Athletic wear
- 2 crop tanks
- 2-3 yoga pants
- 4 running shorts
- 4-5 sports bras
Sweatshirt
Sweatpants
Jean jacket
Underwear, socks, etc.

Shoes

Sandals- for nice dinner or going out
Flip flops- Rainbows, of course

Hat- essential for hiking!
Sunglasses- i hate wearing sunglasses, but they are useful when driving!

Camera- FOR THE VLOG!! haha
3 Camera batteries- SO important when vlogging
